Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, the app version shown in More, and what happened. If possible, describe the steps that led to the problem. You do not need to send a private proposal message or reaction recording to get help.
Opening the box
Choose your ring, velvet, and message in Create. Use Expand Preview to rehearse the reveal. Ready arms the proposal.
On iPhone Duo, follow the Ready instructions: close the device, then hand it over. Opening the device opens the box. Hold it upright and open it like a laptop, with the lid above the ring. On a device without hinge input, swipe up on the box to open it.
To leave an armed reveal, hold the upper-right corner for 1.5 seconds, then confirm Return to Studio. During setup, Back to Studio also asks for confirmation. Your design and any saved Moment are kept; returning stops reaction recording.
No reaction clip or no sound
- Check Film Their Reaction in More or on the Ready screen. A saved Moment can exist without a reaction clip.
- Allow camera access when asked. If you previously denied it, More shows Allow Camera in Settings when filming is enabled.
- Check Yes I Duo!'s microphone permission in your device's Settings if the clip has no microphone audio.
- Keep the app open during the reveal. Recording ends when you return to Studio, close the box after revealing it, or reach the recording's ending point.
Switch filming off if you want the proposal without a recording. Ask the person you are filming for permission before recording or sharing their reaction.
Saved Moments and sharing
Open Moments to replay a revealed proposal, edit its title, date, and note, or use its design again. Make the Film creates a video of the replay. Use the sharing controls to send or save a film, reaction clip, or keepsake through the system share sheet.
Moments are stored locally. The app has no account-based sync or developer-hosted recovery service. Export anything you want to keep before deleting the app, and check your device backup settings before changing devices.
Deleting a Moment
Open the Moment, choose Delete Moment, and confirm. This removes the Moment and its associated media from the app. Previously exported or shared copies remain where you saved or sent them. Deleting a Moment does not erase the current Studio design.
Purchases and refunds
Some builds offer every option free. If your version offers paid options, purchase them through Apple's in-app purchase sheet. When available, Restore Purchases is in More; use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoring a purchase restores access to features, not locally saved Moments.
Apple handles App Store payment and refund requests. To request a refund for a purchase, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Requirements and privacy
Yes I Duo! requires iOS or iPadOS 27 or later. Hinge-driven opening uses the iPhone Duo hinge APIs available in iOS 27.1 or later. The app also supports opening the box with a swipe when hinge input is unavailable.
Read the Privacy Policy for details about recordings, on-device face framing, backups, sharing, and support email. The app uses Apple's standard licensed application terms.
