Yes I Duo!
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Yes I Duo! is made by Can Yıldız. It lets you design a virtual ring box, reveal a proposal, and keep or share a Moment. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Your proposal stays with you
Your design, message, saved Moments, notes, reaction clips, keepsake images, and films are stored in the app on your device. Yes I Duo! does not upload this content to Can Yıldız or operate a server for your proposals. There is no app account or sign-in, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDK.
Your device's backup settings may include this app's data in an iCloud or computer backup. Apple manages those backups; the app's developer cannot access them. Copies you export or share are handled by the destination you choose.
Camera, microphone and recording
When Film Their Reaction is enabled, the app asks for camera permission to record the person opening the box. It also asks for microphone permission to include sound. Camera access is needed for a reaction clip; if microphone access is denied, a clip can still be recorded without microphone audio. The reveal works with filming switched off.
You can turn filming off in More or on the Ready screen. You can change camera and microphone permissions in your device's Settings. Returning to Studio stops an active reaction recording. Before recording someone, make sure they agree to being recorded and to any sharing you plan.
Make the Film uses Apple's screen-recording framework to capture the Moment replay into a shareable video. The resulting film is stored with the Moment. Sharing uses the system share sheet; the app does not publish it automatically or read your photo library.
Face framing and device movement
The app can use Apple's Vision framework on your device to find the position and size of a face in a saved reaction clip. This keeps the face framed during replay and film creation. It stores framing positions with that Moment, does not identify the person, and does not send the clip or framing data to a server.
Device movement and, where available, hinge information control the box's opening, lighting, and effects. A saved Moment can include the opening and lighting timeline so the reveal can be replayed. Settings such as haptics, filming, and box-opening calibration are stored on your device.
Purchases
If in-app purchases are offered, Apple processes payment and provides the app with purchase information needed to unlock or restore features. The developer does not receive your card details. Apple's handling of App Store purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting your information
Saved Moments remain in the app until you delete them or remove the app's data. In Moments, open a Moment and choose Delete Moment to remove its entry and associated recordings, images, film, opening timeline, and face-framing data from the app. The current Studio design is stored separately.
To remove all locally stored app data, delete the app from your device rather than offloading it. Exported files, copies shared with other people, and existing device backups are separate: remove those copies or manage those backups through their respective apps and settings. The developer cannot retrieve or remotely delete content stored only on your device.
Support and this website
If you email support, the developer receives your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to answer your request and resolve the issue, and is kept only as long as needed for that purpose, related follow-up, or applicable legal obligations. The email service used to receive and reply to messages also processes that correspondence. You can request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing can@insanialabs.com.
Visiting these web pages may create standard hosting and security logs, such as your IP address, browser information, the requested URL, and the time of the request. These pages do not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Website visits and support email are separate from your locally stored proposal content.
Children
The app does not send proposal content or personal information to the developer, including information about children. If a support message contains a child's personal information, contact the developer to request its deletion.
