Sticktop
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Sticktop is a Mac app for placing stickers on your desktop. It is made by Can Yıldız. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
The short version
Sticktop does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your Mac.
Your images and stickers
When you add an image, Sticktop keeps a copy inside its own app folder on your Mac so the sticker still works if you move or delete the original. Sticker positions, sizes, borders and settings are saved in the same place. Removing a background is done on your Mac using Apple's built-in Vision framework; images are never uploaded.
Sticktop only reads files you choose yourself, through the open panel, by pasting, or by dragging them in.
No accounts, analytics or tracking
Sticktop has no accounts and no sign-in. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it does not make network requests. The only link out of the app is an optional button that opens tōten's Instagram page in your web browser.
Deleting your data
Removing a sticker in Sticktop deletes its saved copy once no other sticker uses that image.
To remove everything Sticktop has stored, quit the app, delete it, and delete its folder at
~/Library/Containers/com.sticktop.app.
Children
Sticktop does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
